Kethmar channels and purposes
- #Kethmar: The Silver Stag Inn, one of two main locations in Kethmar. This is Kardale's inn and tavern, frequented most by adventurers and other travellers. While not the best reputation, Kardale keeps things clean... kind of.
- #Kethmar_OOC: The OOC (Out Of Character) channel. Go here to ask questions or talk out of character to people.
- #Kethmar_Quest: The quest channel. This is where all adventures and quests take place, as to not clutter up the main channel with discussion and dicerolls.
- #Kethmar_Private: This channel is used for private scenes, especially sexual scenes, which can often interfere with other roleplay in the main channels.
- #Kethmar_City: This channel is for RP that takes place in the city as well as RPed Shopping.
- #Kethmar_SOI: This channel is a high class vrsion of the stag. PK is not allowed here.
- #Kethmar_Wilderness: This channel is for RP that takes place in the wilderness outside the city.
Everyone is free to come and see what #kethmar is all about. Even without a character you're free to enter the inn if you want and start playing ( though all unregistered characters are 0 level human commoners) , however for any serious playing you will be required to have a registered character. If you wish to register now, please go here.

"Solo RP" Is not allowed in #Kethmar_private, #Kethmar_widlerness or #kethmar_City.
#kethmar_wilderness and #kethmar_city are "semi-private", which means people can join you without asking permission. They are also permitted to play a paralell scene in a different part fo the city within the same channel if they so desire.
OOC permission of the players in the scene is required to join in an active roleplay in #kethmar_private. Playing a paralell scene in a different private location is fully permissible, however.
#kethmar and #kethmar_SOI are fully public channels and any one can interact with any one in the channel for any reason. Also note that it is expected that your character will respond to all unusual events that happen in the room, even if they do not directly impact them. For example if an invoker summons a demon in the middle of the stag, your character had better not continue chatting about his love life and sipping ale as if it was perfectly normal for a pit fiend to be summoned 10' away.
Help support Kethmar it's less painful than you'd think.
